Phil Scheidt is a man with a great spirit of adventure. He spent 25 years with two
Fortune 500 companies. While he loved his career, he always felt a yearning for the alpine
country from his first visit to the Alps in 1971. He began touring as a hobby, giving his
first guided tours in 1980 as an adjunct to his career.
In 1989, the hobby won. Phil exchanged his suits for hiking boots to make the Alps his
full time occupation. He's an accomplished skier, hiker, and instructor. Phil still guides
specific groups each season and is always searching for new, unspoiled locations to
enchant you each year. He personally supervises and arranges each tour. The most striking
feature about Phil is his willingness to share his knowledge of Swiss & Austrian
culture in an easy going way. It makes you feel part of the Alpine Spirit.
